It has been a rough week!

I would like to start off by saying, my condolences to the families of David Bowie and Alan Rickman.

I had been working on a set of amigurumi Harry Potter characters, starting with Luna. The next one I started was Snape, and it was only several days before Alan Rickman passed. I have finished crocheting Snape, and now intend to send Snape instead of Luna Lovegood for my Fandom of the Month Club swap group January swap.
This is a close up on Snape's face. I intend to take better pictures before sending it to my partner, but I also wanted to share this character as he is the only one I will not be including in the crochet pattern ebook. Not yet.

I am also planning to crochet a David Bowie doll, as crocheting has been helping me to cope over the last few days with the loss of such key celebrities of my childhood.

I've been working towards my 100 in 2016, and so far have crocheted Luna, Snape, a Hippocamp, a mandrake, a turtle, a fairy, and Baymax. I'm planning to make an amigurumi surprise bag for my etsy page, including a simple amigurumi (not a character) and a piece of jewelry. It would be a smaller amigurumi, probably under 5" and I would give a color choice option.

I'm still working on the amigurumi tutorial, I plan to make a downloadable .pdf file in the near future. I want to make it as basic as possible for beginning crocheters as well. The largest problem I have right now is making it effective for right handed crocheters too!

Happy crafting!
